Hopefully the answer to the question is yourself at least to begin with. I know I’m citing others here but I feel strongly that one can’t love another without love for the self. On my spiritual journey this has certainly been an integration that has made an enormous difference in my dealings with everyone, not just my intimate partner.

As an essential aspect of self-care, and finding your balance, there are any number of stones that can be helpful. I think Rose Quartz is world renowned for being the stone of unconditional love. It can also bring peace, another aid in allowing more love into your life. As healing stone jewelry, Rose Quartz can be worn inside your auric filed, lending full energy body assistance. Roses fade all too quickly, a gift of Rose Quartz to yourself or a loved one, offers endless unconditional love.

My dear friend Cheryl Barker uses a method of taking rose petals and making them into beads. It’s a fascinating story you can read more here and connect with Cheryl of Facebook. Here are a couple of pieces I made with beads Cheryl made for me from roses I had kept. I gladly share my loving memories of Valentines flowers and others given “just because”, they are special.
