I decided – out of the blue – to write a piece about St Patrick’s Day. Not because anyone needs any more information about the man, the myth, or the day of, but because green is such an enticing colour. It’s been on my mind for days so my thoughts are not necessarily out of the blue, maybe out of the green, and divinely guided 🙂

The minerals causing/creating green stones and crystals are in great abundance on planet earth. Green crops up many times over, in all its myriad hues, in some of the most amazing “rocks.” We are all familiar with Emeralds, check out 10 of the best emeralds, but did you know that Mother Gaia cares not a whit for the valuations of humans? Metaphysically a small chunk of raw emerald (main image) holds just as much power as any of these great gems.

How fortunate are we to have so many gorgeous samples representing the day now famous for good, luck, good health & prosperity.

Aventurine | Luck & Good Fortune.
Chrysoprase | Love & Abundance.
Jade | Compassion & Contentment.
Malachite | Propserity.
Peridot | Luck & Success.
Pyrite | Optimism & Abundance.

With love & blessings. Sláinte J
