Citrine
This month’s topic from HIW left me with an absolutely huge list of stones to research. Intuition is a big subject in the esoteric fields; whether it be finding, facilitating, opening, enhancing, stimulating or indeed trusting your intuition. There’s lots of information to process.
I looked up the definition to make sure I was using the proper concept not necessarily my own world view. Merriam Webster’s Essential Meaning: a natural ability or power that makes it possible to know something without any proof or evidence: a feeling that guides a person to act a certain way without fully understanding why.
They nailed the concept – is that how you feel? Do you deny it? How often has your natural ability shown you something and you’ve ignored the feeling or the knowing? How often has that “guide” let you know a decision, a meeting, a deal, or a person, was other than stated or shown, and yet! This is the “gut,” the intuition, and trusting it is key.
Raised in the 1st world what we hear is, “Go with the science. But you have no proof. Surely you must be wrong about —fill in the blank—. But it’s just a feeling, it’s not real. How can you know? Shouldn’t you take people on face value?” We second-guess ourselves all the time, well I used to, and sometimes still do.
For this month’s stone I decided to stay with the idea of opening up the intuition rather than be distracted by that long list I mentioned. I opted for a stone that is very affordable and readily available, my pick is:
Citrine – A powerful cleanser and regenerator. Carrying the power of the sun. It is warming, energizing, and highly creative. Energizes every level of life. Known to activate the Crown chakra and open the intuition. **
These are other stones that can act as potential “openers” if that is what you seek.
Amazonite – Filters information passing through the brain and combines it with the intuition.
Amethyst – A Spiritual Stone. Opens the intuition and enhances psychic gifts.
Alexandrite – Chrysoberyl. Opens the intuition and metaphysical abilities. Creates a strong will and personal magnetism.
Rhodolite – Raspberry Red Garnet. Stimulates contemplation, intuition, and inspiration.
Muscovite – Mica. Opens the intuition and psychic vision.
Star Sapphire – Very rare. Has 5-pointed star shaped formation in its depths. Opens the intuition.
Stillbite – Highly creative stones, believed to open the intuition.
